I'm seldom in one place and always seem to be somewhere on this planet. Travelling is a great experience but when you have kids, there are things to consider - school, having friends and grandparents. My family do follow me on some of my travels but they need a place to call home, and that place is Petaling Jaya. It may not be on the tourist map but it's a great place to live.
Many good schools are here and there are plenty of activities for the kids. Petaling Jaya may be urban but not an urban jungle, and there are still areas of greenery. There are plenty of places to shop ranging from the traditional markets to the modern shopping malls. It's also a great place for eating out ranging from the stalls to restaurants. Most of all, life moves at a moderate pace here.
