Port Dickson (PD by the locals) is a coastal town located about 90 km (56 miles) south of Kuala Lumpur. The town offers its sandy beaches and a popular holiday destination especially for those living in Kuala Lumpur and nearby in need of a short break. Plenty of accommodation here ranging from the budget stays to 5-star resorts, but book early if staying during the weekends and public holidays.

You can walk around Port Dickson's town centre within 20 minutes. A laid back town, catering more for the locals and military families living at the nearby army bases. There are the 'mom and pop' stores, a medium-size supermarket, banks, pharmacies, a bus terminal, local eateries and fast food restaurants. Even during the weekends and holidays, the town doesn't get crowded and busy.
