Eating out in Port Dickson should not be a problem for any visitor but it is not the food capital of Malaysia. There is a range of choices including the restaurants and cafes at the 3 to 5-star resorts, local restaurants and eateries, food from the street stalls and invasion by American fast food chains. Dishes include Western, Malay, Chinese, Indian, local snacks and not to forget Pizza Hut and KFC.
If it is fine dining, then head to the 4 to 5-star resorts and expect to pay the price. For a reasonably good Western or Malaysian meal in a comfortable setting but without the high prices, head to the restaurant at the 3-star PD Golf & Country Club - the foods here may not win an award but good enough for the price you pay. For cheap eats and local snacks, head to the street stalls.
