The Avillion Port Dickson may be a 4-star resort but is among the cream of the resorts in Port Dickson. A standard room costs around RM280 (USD86) on weekdays but goes twice as much on weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Considering the quality of the accommodation and facilities provided, a stay at the Avillion during the peak periods is still much less than similar resorts in Hawaii or Spain.
The Avillion promotes itself as a family resort but that should not stop honeymooners from coming here. Accommodation here includes villas and chalets located in the garden area and seafront. Facilities include swimming pools, terraces and sun decks, gym, spa, sauna and facilities for water sports. I give a 'thumbs up' for the Malaysian and Western dishes served and the pleasant ambiance of the restaurants.
