There is a staging point nearby Bugis Street for a ride on a pedicab. The pedicabs are more of a tourist attraction then a mode of transport, since the drivers will return the passengers back to the staging point. Riding on a pedicab is a leisurely way to tour the nearby places, especially if you are too lazy to walk. Many of the pedicab drivers look past their retirement age, and I guess the pedicabs will gradually disappear from Singapore.
